Lorain County Community College
Located in Ohio, Lorain County Community College has developed an Associate’s degree in Alternative Energy Technology that emphasizes wind turbine education. Recognizing the need for a workforce educated in wind energy systems, Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon, Illinois has developed a 2 semester wind energy certificate program that is geared toward wind technician training. With a maximum capacity of 16 persons, program applicants must be able to meet basic math and language prerequisites before submitting their application for enrollment. University of Iowa
